Hi everyone

Is their anyone out there with experience reloading with a EJ-123 scale from A&D?
I am looking to improve on my RCBS auto trickler and was looking at this one as more affordable alternative to the Fx-300.

Want to know if there is any positive it negative experience with this product or is just worth saving longer for the Fx-300

Thanks in advance
Simmo

I would save for the FX series as you move from load cells to a hybrid moving magnet technology. As I understand it, this is what allows the scales to respond accurately and quickly to very small changes in weight and what differentiates the cheap from the expensive scales irrespective of brand.

I have both the EJ & the FX scales. Originally had the EJ, & while they are accurate, they are fairly slow to read weight changes, which makes it difficult to trickle loads.

Now use the EJ for weighing cases, primers etc & the FX is setup with auto throw & trickler.

My advice would be wait & get the FX model.
