Does anybody know where I can get some data on these factory rounds?
There's nothing on any Winchester website.
Who acyually makes them?
Are they made in Australia?
How do I find out the f/ps from a 30" barrel without using a Chonograph?
Please help if you can.

They use the Dyer projectile now rather than the sierra matchking.
Essentially it is ~45.5gns of 2208.....for around 2950fps in a 30" barrel.
U wont know for sure unless u chrony them in your rifle though

The current NRAA factory ammunition uses the Sierra 155, however there were a number of tests utilising Dyer projectiles:
Test one (05/12/04) to 7 NRAA Members (NQRA and TRA declined) was
1) 100rds - 2008 seated 2.805" OAL with Dyer 155g projectiles (seated too long for most chambers)
During this time, the Winchester factory trialled
1) BM2 powder to try and reduce the powder variation (measured too much pressure)
2) Winchester military cases to try and delete the neck tar (readings were too low in bullet pull tests)
Test two (13/11/06) to 7 NRAA Members was
1) 40rds - 2206H seated 2.150" (base to ogive) with Dyer 155g projectiles
2) 40rds - 2206H seated 2.150" (base to ogive) with Sierra 155g projectiles
Reference ammunition (current NRAA 308W)
1) 40rds - 2208 seated 2.205" (base to ogive) with Sierra 155g projectiles
The current status (June Directors meeting) is the NRAA are still waiting Test two responses from some Members, tks James
