due to my weird work hours i dont have many chances to go to a range on weekends so i was wondering if anyone knows where i could go during the week to sight in and get a few shots off. i live in the western subs of melbourne and can get around easily enough but finding somewhere to get my gear up and running can prove to be somewhat of a daunting task.
can anyone help me out on this??

The Werribee range is quite handy to the Western suburbs, and the Vic Police Club has their normal weekly shoot during the week and they are a friendly bunch. Someone else might have some good contact details - I've had trouble getting onto them recently.

G'Day stu,
I shoot with the VPRC at Werribee and they shoot every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month and start around 12:00 to 12:30 from memory.
The range is on the Bacchus Marsh/Werribee road and you head out of BM towards Geelong and turn off towards Werribee. Its about 12-14km down and on your right. and on a sweeping left bend past the 2 main powerlines.
You cannot miss them and look for the big heavy gates with WISC on them.
