Hi all I’m ordering a new barrel, just wondering what twist is best with 180 grain projectiles with a BC of 640 in a 7mm 284 30 inch barrel for F class. Cheers

9 twist will work. 8.5 will comfortably drive 183/184gr pills if you decide to try something slightly heavier.

As mentioned, 9" will work fine with the 180gn pills, but if you go to 8.5", a 284 will handle this fine and will allow you to try the longer 183gn pills if you do want to try them. If you definitely only want to limit yourself to these 180gn pills, then 9" twist is simple and readily available.
