gday,has anyone got info on WCC cases ?
ive never seen it till now.
any good ?
compared to loopy,how would it rate for capacity and thickness,reloadability ?

WCC are Winchester military brass as far as I am aware.

Depends on the year, highpower shooters in the state’s prized 58’s I believe, for capacity and concentricity, never seen one to measure so all 2nd hand info

Just weighed some WCC 00 Headstamp 5.56mm 223 brass they ranged
From 93.1-94.2 grains
Compared to Lapua 93.5-93-7 grains should be comparable
Just remember they are military brass made for auto weapons and have crimped primer pockets

They were made for a defence contract just like LC (Lake City) 5.56mm brass

these are 308 cases ,once fired.
stamped: WCC 13 [circle with a cross in it]
i havent sized one yet so i dont know if its crimped.

edit: i just popped a primer out of one,doesnt appear to have a crimp.

[font=cursive]The 13 on the case is the year that it was made/loaded (2013), the WCC stands for Western Cartridge Company (Olin), East Alton, IL {bought out by Winchester}, the circle with a cross in it signifies a NATO spec round.
Unless they are "Match" brass, all military brass has crimped primer pockets and will need to be "Fixed" ie, either with a primer pocket swaging tool or some sort of reamer tool...
You may have gotten the primer out but you will find that when you try to prime the case again the primer will not want to seat and DO NOT force it in as you risk setting off the primer! [/font]
