As the subject reads is anyone out there using the berger 224 cal 85.5 hybrids and if so what twist rate barrel are you using. Looking at re barreling my existing o mark to 223 for short range and club shoots

I am guessing that either they aren't available as yet in country or no one is using them.

I tried them once in my 8T 22-250AI. But havent done any load dev with them yet. They go about 70fps slower then 80gr VLD with same powder charge.

1:6.5 twist Krieger at 30inch; 24.3-24.6gr '08. Reasonable results from 300-700yd, but moved up to 88-90gr projectiles.

I figure these would be brilliant in something like 22 Creedmeor, 223AI or 22-250.
