Hi everyone I recently had a 6BRA Krieger barrel done for my Borden Rimrock and a brilliant job was done I purchased Lapua Brass and in a discussion with a friend I found out my brass is thinner .012 its a no turn neck, this is the size straight out of the box I'm just wondering if this is right or not as I'm having problems with the bolt tearing brass off around the primer pocket with light fire forming loads 30gn of 2208 and I'm wondering if the brass would be thinner all over.
I would also add that the rifle is a very successful 284W this does not happen to 284W brass also Lapua.

Perhaps pictures of the damage may help? Bit hard to visualise what you’re seeing

Hi Micky,
Time to visit your gunsmith and show this issue to them,
If they are unable or unwilling to address your problem time to change gunsmith.
Also very hard to diagnose issues without photos and measurements.
Good luck.
Cheers

Unusual to be tearing brass off around the primer pocket just fire forming, you don't mean the case rim do you? extractor maybe the issue. Thinner brass perhaps not but maybe softer.
