Paul McCarthy rang last week to see if we couldn't bring the Rosedale range .223 to the Moe OPM for a new shooter from Lang Lang. Normally the rifle is reserved for new shooters at Rosedale, but rules are made to be broken. The new shooter was 13 year old Jason Green, who arrived at the range with a family friend Steve Squires. Paul coached him and using factory 69gn ammo he scored 56, 55 and 56 at 300, 500 and 600yds respectively. Obviously Paul couldn't handle the wind! There were 8 shooters in F-Std B, and Jason was pipped by just 1 point for first badge. He got the loudest cheer of anyone at the presentation.
