Guys and Girls,
Looking at getting a bipod for f-class. Some guys at the Sydney club use a James Corbett made bipod however they are no longer being manufactured.
The only other somewhat known bipod I can find is the Davies bipod. Anyone using it? Anyone have any thoughts or comments on it?? Is it good? bad? Worth the money? Any other suggestions welcome.
Thanks

hi dee cee,
Although i dont own one, I have fired 1 of castlemaine's club guns that had a davies bipod fitted and i was pleased not only with the rifle as a whole but the bipod also for it's simple design and manipulation of use without the need to alter your position on the mound. FWIW as soon as i get a stock for my omark project

Davies Bipod,
Can not beat them, been useing one for a year or two now. They make great trigger units as well, good to deal with and quick of the mark with deliveries.

Thanks fella's for the advice and thoughts. I've come up with nothing else so I might just have to give it a go. I'll let you know how it goes.

Correct in the first instant.
Incorrect in the second.

Kay and I both shoot off Davies bipods, and I would reccommend them--- and Barry's not paying me to say that.
Very good value for money.

I use what I think is a davies Bi pod and it is fantastic cost me over $200.00 but worth every cent. then I found that Ray Parker at Maryborough Rifle club makes an almost identical item for a whole lot less (I shoot at Maryborough and live in Avoca)

Grant,
If you paid over $200 for a Davies Bipod, somebody Ripped you off Mate.
$185 is the price.

Wwll I purchased it at a gun shop on my travels when I spotted it so I can be guranteed to have been ripped off.
But that is life when I spot something good I usually buy it.
