hi,
are 11 or 20 or36 votes in a poll significant or meaningful in the total of shooters in fclass?
always be aware of the silent & often apathetic majority which can react after the event.
regards,
bruce moulds.

Hi Bruce
Alan has discussed this very issue in the thread "second target poll" on page 5 on the future of f class forum

Bruce
I'm sure Alan would be most happy to hear any contructive ideas you may have, this is a forum and your views would be welcome.
As he has said we know this forum represents a minority, no-one has ever suggested otherwise but no-one has control over who does and does not participate.

hi lynn,
all i am trying to say is that we cannot jump to too many conclusions based on a small sample.
i am not attempting to be negative as you seem to suggest

bruce.

Sorry Bruce
I didn't mean to sound that way but Alan did cover what you have just said, I don't think he or anyone else is planning on the polls being the "be all and end all" of the topics.

Bruce ...
Any information polled from ozfclass will be presented as the majority opinion of ozfclass, what is also being suggested is the polled info is also distributed, via registerd members of this site, to other club members for proxy voting.
This way we will have a better idea of what is wanted by the majority.

hi,
it's good to see that lynn, tony, & alan can agree on something.
it's just that when divided between std & open, ratios like 5/3 can occur, which are meaningless in themselves, let alone when extrapolated from.
there seems to be more people looking at this site than care to comment about anything at this stage.
let's hope that improves.
regards,
bruce.

SURPRISE, SUPRISE....I also agree with you Bruce and I know you did your best to make people aware of this site (did you have to tell Tony though

). This is a young forum (some 3mths old) and we need to crawl before we can walk, I'm sure the numbers will come.
And Bruce, I'm hurt, Tony and I don't ALWAYS disagree.
Good shooting mate
