Hello all,

Ive been reloading a fair bit lately (dont we all , mostly for the club rifle in 223R.

Just lately, I have seen a few odd items in the 2208 powder ive been using - like (what seem to be) sticks of powder up to 12-15mm long, bits of what look like sand with a coating of graphite, and a hair from a brush of some sort, complete with powder coating and graphite.

Weird, anyone else found "greeblies" in their powder?

I'm seeing a black glaze in the throat using 2208 in a number of different brand of barrels, James

Did you keep these items so they can be sent to Thales for inspection?

I didnt think to keep the items, probably in the bin here.

Triplejim, I havnt noticed anything unusual about what comes out of my barrel, but I dont really pay much attention either.
