Hello Everyone
Just wondering if anyone has tried out the 185-190-200gr Copperhead projectiles in their FTR rifles?
Cheers

No worries, do you have any photos of them? A couple comparison pics next to other heavy 30 cal pills would be great to see if possible

Here are Berger 200 hydrid target, Copperhead 200, and Berger 200.20x.

Nose to tip lengths are 37.7, 37.5, 38.3 respectively
The Copperheads have more of a tangent ogive than the Bergers so (may) be easier to get shooting well at the price of a slightly lower BC.

Wow thats great, thank you for the great photos and comparisons. Have you had a chance to shoot any of the 200gr Copperheads?

I have tried one stage of the new 200gn Copperheads. The group was ok, but I need to do more load testing - I have heard that you might need to get them going a little faster than 200.20x Bergers due to the difference in BC. Like all of Ken’s bullets, they look good so I reckon they’ll shoot with the right load. I also have some 185gn Copperheads and they look very cool. I don’t think there is much difference in the BC between the Jugg Bergers but the Copperheads actually look more aerodynamic, so I can’t wait to try these soon.
