Does anyone know for sure what is the difference between 2156, 2156B and 2156C?
Some say designation B and C are 'bulk' and 'carton' and some believe these are factory seconds (B&C grade).
What is the truth?

I know how they are marked, I am asking if there is a quality control difference?
It makes sense that B and C grades are factory seconds, lower quality projectiles

Seconds will be sold as 2156R.
So no, they are not seconds, but I would bet the green boxes are more tightly batch controlled.
It wouild cost Sierra almost nothing to make their 1200 boxes in green, so why the plain box? I have always thought that plain boxes are not their best product.
Stick with the green boxes

G'day All,
when I worked at the VRA Shop, Herrons and OSA importers told me that any printed label boxes were 1st grade regardless of the quantity and all the hand written boxes are rejects, usually in brown boxes.
Hope this helps
Cheers Geoff

That's reassuring Geoff. Unfortunately I doubt if quality projectiles or lower grade projectiles would make a great deal of difference to my scores somedays. Maybe most days.
