With the sad closure of BRT who is the go to in Australia for Forster bits and pieces? I understand the Q store bought everything leftover from BRT but it's still in boxes and will be months before it's all finally catalogue and up on the website.

Any info appreciated as currently using a Lee decapper but that means doubling up on the number times on the press and going from 300 to 600 is killing me.

Are you chasing one for a large flash hole? If you are, just pm me your address and I'll chuck one in the mail.

Using 308 Small primer Palmer brass. Which I believe is a 1.5mm hole vs 1.8mm hole for large primers.

Sorry mate, I've got a couple of the large ones spare, because I changed them to the small ones myself. You could try and stick them in a drill and hone them down with some sandpaper to get you out of trouble. I didn't the same thing when I first got my dies because I forgot to order the pins at the same time.

[font=Georgia]You can order directly from Foster in the USA... They are not an ITAR restricted item and they may even be able to suggest a dealer here in OZ if they have another besides the late and much missed BRT...
I myself use a Harvey de-primer as that is just quicker than a press and saves all the residue from fouling my press..
Just sit watching TV with a tray on my lap and can deprime 200 cases in about 6-8 minutes.
Always use disposable gloves to minimize exposure to residue.
I do have a Co-Ax press and that has a jar and drop tube to eliminate the residue problem but the hand deprimer is just quicker and I do not use the deprimer unit in my die anyway as I size first and then neck up with a mandrel die...
The residue is; 1: a bit toxic with lead. 2: abrasive to the moving parts of your press
Another idea would to try and see if an engeneering supply has any drill rod in the size you need...
Even sacrificing a drill of the right diameter.
Cut off the shank to the length you need and put a very small radius on the both ends to allow for ease of entry to decapping rod and flash hole.[/font]

[font=Georgia]I just had a thought and checked my dies and was correct...
RCBS & Redding de-capping pins will fit a Foster die...
Just tried one in my 6BR neck/shoulder bump and it went right in... Same for my Redding dies.
You can try to find someone/business selling them here in OZstralia or just order them up from Amazon... If I remember, that is where I bought mine.. been a long time.
The die makers seem to at least have coordinated their production on that item and after all, they are limited by flash hole size anyway!
