Hello, can anyone explain what the "Palma Match chamber" is? Savage advertise this on their website, when detailing the Palma Match rifle. I'm assuming it has something to do with maybe running the 155gn Sierra's, seeing this rifle has a 1 in 13 twist.

That's likely it. The US has one or two chambers throated significantly shorter than SAAMI designated Palma specifically for the Sierra 2155 projectile.

Incidentally, I hear that the new Sierra 2156 suits an even shorter throat.
