6mm Berger VLD

Just opened the latest box of Berger 6mm, 105 gn. VLD marked as "made in the USA", and guess what they are .035" base /ojive different to earlier offerings. Anyone seen this?

I have read that a few years ago, they chaged to a new die which had slightly narrower diameter, then after a year or so, they polished the same die to make the ID closer to the original diameter. maybe you had one of the earlier made ones?
