I am thinking of using the 208gn A MAX bullet in my 300 WSM as the 210gn Bergers are hard to come by.

One Match Rifle shooter has offered me some advice which is encouraging,
but can I have other peoples views on this projectile please.

Hi Paul , The tests conducted both here and in the US show the batchs tested were not up the scratch for 1K benchrest use .. The Juenke showed too big a deviation , the bearing surface and the joint of the plastic tip were well off .. In the US the dual Ohler 43 speed tests showed the largest variation in *At target speed * out of the 4 bullets shot that day was with the 208 A max( real world BC of .635).. In short they qualified like they shot ..
