Looks like Peter Smith in Innisfail is in for some very rough weather. Here's hoping the experience of Larry in 2006 is standing him in good stead. We're thinking of you and your community Peter - hang on in there.

Marty is in Cairns now Al. Lets hope all goes as well as possible.
Thinking of you guys.
We have crews ready to go tomorrow morning to fix the damaged power network....it is going to be a huge job.

Just spoke to marty and BTW, the hold off for 100MPH winds at 1000yds is 58 Moa, but the winds are expected to be over that.
Peter Smith and Phil Mastin are going to be in for a rough time, pretty much in the thick of it. Hope they pull through OK.
