Not sure who commissioned this poll - I was sent the link by the shooting coordinator from one of the local secondary schools. The important thing is SAY YES for the future of shooting sports.

PC is playing up so could't see the link. There was a news story last week about the NSW Shooters and Fishers party wanting more funding/support for shooting in schools to be more widely available so I will assume that this petition stems from this.

This petition is really important.

It from NSWRA asking people to fill it in as support for trying to keep the ANZAC Rifle Range open.

Did not realise it was about the ANZAC range. Petition signed and commentated on. Who is the local member in that neck of the woods? That petition was for Fed ALP Penny Wong

The UK NRA fully supports this and we have a post on our forum asking all UK shooters to support the petition, I hope it works out for you guys as it would be a crying shame to loose such a facility.

did some research on it (wasn't hard!)

Good old jumping jack! what a twat

Hopefully common sence prevails and the ANZAC range will continue

Have posted the petition on my FB page and have found support from people who are against firearms but reconise the historical value of this site and after some debate agree that shooting at targets is SAFE! only 6 people but hopefully that helps

There was also an news article and a poll 2 weeks about schools wanting to have shooting a sport and the NSW licencing branch were supporting any schools that wanted it.
