not target related but advise on marlin 450

hi, i have been offered a marlin 450 lever action , ive allways thought of buying one when they first came out but never got around to it . wondering if anyone on here has one or knows if they are anygood , looking at it for a bit of a fun gun ect in the bush . anyone know what sort of distance they can shoot to ect ect . i once had a 30-30 marlin & really loved the thing ..
