Same price in the US as a BAT. Titanium has its own positives and negatives, and will never be the silver bullet (any puns intended).

I guess its like all materials, positives and negatives. I have had a few SS actions, there good, but you have to be wary of galling etc. The big advantage for me is peace of mind after gluing into stocks..... less chance of corrosion. From my distant engineering studies I think Titanium is prone to galling as well.
I have a Multi Flat Pierce Stainless arriving very shortly for just over a grand at my door. A mate has one in the US and cannot fault the workmanship.
Some of the so called custom actions are now coming with flaws as these companies ramp up to keep up with demand or chase the military contracts.
