4 in a row is more than just luck Matt! keep it up mate...
Am trying desperately to get down there but some serious stuff getting in the way. Hopefully will get through it today and jump on a plane tonight. All the gear is down there but havent booked anything yet.
With your gear obviously humming and the usual suspects probably doing load development during leadup! (coming back strong in the Queens), Ben, Mark, Marty, Rod etc etc etc plus Cameron, Julie, Brent and Meichelle back in for Queens as well it promises to be a very strong field! Shades reminiscent of Mackay. Promising to be a cracker.
I dont want to miss out on that opportunity!

) But the real question Matt is are you going to leave any room for the others to have a chance

???

Convincing performance Matt. We've decided to put you on probation for a two year period, during which time you'll be restricted to using a 270 Winchester, and no sighters....
And well done Robert Kinnear - getting the daily agg in that company is really something.

is it too soon to rest my case regarding the 6.5 x 47 as potentially the greatest team cartridge to date?
not to diminish from matt's pointing one in the right direction.
godd shooting all, and good shooting in the coming days.
keep safe,
bruce.

Theres some fantastic scores, guys well done. Matt I haven't met you but I'm in awe of your performance.
I thought I was going to make this as my first Queens but lucked unfortunately. I'm watching from afar though and enjoying seeing the familliar names and a high skill level.
Great shooting guys and gals, great turn out too for F-open.

Thanks to all !!!
The weather gods have been nice to me, hope it continues for another few days.

The rifle is just a Barnard, Trueflite laminated Kelby 1M copy, March 10-60. The chamber is a no turn 6.5 x 47, the ammo I have shot of the past two days is virgin brass loaded straight out of the box ( hope the fireformed shoots as well ) with unsorted Berger 130's.
Bruce
It's a great caliber but I think the 284 is a better option for the longs in rough conditions, its been tricky here but not those real heavy conditions where the big bullets have the edge.

Well done again yesterday Matt. 3 points lost in 2 days is fantastic going especially including 900 and 1000 at Belmont.
