I have seen pictures of people using a clear wind/weather shield to shield their plot sheets etc but have no luck trying to track them down online (at a store). Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Cheers

If it's the thing that opens to about 30 degrees, then the only place I've seen them sold is at Bisley. There seem to be some who use the military map cases.

Hi David,
They are called WeatherWriters. I got mine from the UK. A quick google should find one.

I have a A5 landscape which I find good as it is compact, I also have a A4 landscape, I wouldn't go any bigger.

That's fine when the weather's good but if it's bucketing down with the wind from the wrong direction they're not all that much help. I have an A3 Landscape which is what I'd recommend.

Barry,
If I used a A3 when the conditions are bad in Hamilton I would need tent pegs to hold it down

I can get you one from South Africa. I think they are around $30.

I have taken to waterproof paper and a pencil. It works underwater even!
If it is really blowing just a couple of extra bulldog clips to hold down all edges.
Watch the inkjet printers though - need to use a laser.
