Great Promotion of Australian F Class Shooting

Post by Southcape »

Hi everyone,

Please find in the link a great write up on the Stars and Stripes International Challenge. This is great for the positive image of Australian F Class Shooting.

Looking forward to the Worlds.

Hope the link works, I'm on my phone.

QUESTION

i read that f open means up to 35 cal in the usa......

so are our people competing with 338 lapua mags in New Mexico. ?
If so, how do they go ? are 338s accurate ? do many use them ?

338s will be allowed in the F Class Nationals, but the FCWC is limited to 8mm. I dont think (could be wrong) that out of the 100 F Open shooters at the last U.S Nationals, that anyone was using a 338. The recoil would be too much for accurate shooting in long strings, though sometimes I wish I was using a big 338 there.
All Australians going this year will be using a 7mm or 30 cal.
