Ovens and Murray and Wang prize meeting. Easter 2013

Post by Barry Davies »

To all you F open blokes, after last years roll out im actually quite surprised they have offered F Open for the two days, Saturday is always quite well attented but Sunday has left something to be desired.

To their credit, Wang and the ovens and Murray DRA have offered another two days of competition this year, range prizes, daily aggs and the two day agg are up for grabs.

300,500 and 600 Yards on Saturday.

300,500,600 Metres on Sunday.

You wont find a better weekend away, bring the family, the Easter Bunny has been known to leave the kids their spoils scattered about the place too.

An added bonus...... this might be the place to decide if you and your gear are up to the Vic Queens.

Catch ya there!

I dont shoot F Open but I certainly agree with Adam that it is a fantastic weekend away on a rifle range. Always plenty of competition and a very friendly event.

Another great weekend of competition from the Ovens and Murray DRA and in particular the Wangarratta rifle club members who obviously put a great deal of time and effort into the weekend, the range was in perfect condition as usual and is a credit to those invloved. All in all a superb weekend, as it is every year.

Maybe next year Wayne?

Certainly some great scores over the weekend by numerous shooters, some still scratching their head....... Myself included!

Looks as though some of the Vic's are in great form for the upcoming Queens. Two weeks left to sort some gear out. See you in Bendigo Danny.
