Well, I got a bit Jealous when I seen the F-Open blog start up, so I though I would give running the F/TR blog a go.
As with F-Open yesterday was the first FULL team practice day, it was great to get the team together and on the firing line, I feel there is now a clear path in front of us with the issues that were brought out in the session and over the coming weeks we will all be working towards nutting these out.
First day of the Queens lead up was taken out by Mike Halloran with a 235.__ Mike has a few points lead on 2nd/3rd but we'll be keeping the pressure on.
Keep an eye out for the full score over in the F-Open blog, I will post them up here if I can tomorrow.

Daily aggs have been posted for all grades over in F-open, as you can see Mike has the jump But the next 4 of the top 5 are tight.
Was an interesting day out, winds were switchy or strong, or non existent,

it always amazes me to see some of the worst scores appearing for the day when the conditions are (or at least appear to be) the easiest.
1 day in to a 5 day shoot, longs tomorrow 8,9 & 1000yds......

Today as an interesting one, winds were again up and down and shifting, probably a bit worse than yesterday..
The F-open shooters Cam McEwan and Matt Parroz tied the 800 with 60-10 bloody unreal!!
Nikki took out the 800 with 60.7 myself at 900 with 59.5 1000 yet to come (I had a shocker which took me out of the Day Agg. Will have to settle with bronze on day 1 and gold at 900.
More to come when final scores are out..

NRAA results pages are useless. Who's shot what and who's winning?
Have to say that I didn't feel ALL that sad to be not shooting as I drove for hours through the rain on Friday.

Hello Barry,
Reckon you must be looking in the wrong spot. NRAA are updating the results progressively as they happen. Check it out at

Hello Barry,
Must admit it looked good at the time that I sent you the message but not so sure now. There's nothing after the 1st round this morning under that heading but I think they have just put it all under "Results" now. Bit of a mixed bag but reckon you're on the right track at this stage of the game.
Some of the results are awesome !! F-Open is getting pretty tough at the top now and the numbers in the field are excellent - exciting things for the future I think.
Regards..........Jeff.

Congrats to Shane Green on taking 1st place in both the queens and Grand Agg.
What a fantastic comp, we had it all when it comes to conditions, rain, sun, high winds, low winds, no wind and my favourite, those nasty switchy ones!!
What a great experience been a part of the 1st national F-TR comp and the 2nd in Australia, I hope its a start to many more.....
