I just saw a post on ukvarminting.com where it mentions that AI are producing a new Target Rifle utilizing Maddco barrels and Dolphins (Mik Maksimovic) modular stock.
Good on you, Neville ! Congratulations.
Great to see a very good Aussie product crack into the European shooting market , and especially with a company as big and well respected as Accuracy International.

This is not really anything new. Neville has had an on-and-off arrangement with AI for at least the last 10 years. There have been periods where it is impossible to get a barrel out of Neville as he is so backlogged with AI orders.

I'd say it's good to see a pommy company using a product as well respected as Maddco!
I think it's a part of the defence contract requirements for an Australian company to be involved or a part of the end product (AIAW rifles that out army uses). But I could be wrong...

I dont think Australian content is a requirement, unless its for an ADF contract, which would be a very small percentage on AIs sales.
I understand that AI have used a number of other barrel makers in the past, but they keep coming back to Maddco. Also, its worth noting that Maddco supplies finished barrels to AI, not just blanks. So its largely Maddco work that meets the guarantee AI offer for being able to swap barrels on their rifles and still be within a certain amount of POI (within 1 MOA? cant recall).
