Gents,
Who is the Aussie importer for sightrons? My 10-50x60 is well, kaput. F***** is a better word however. When my NF 5.5-22 will throw 7 shots into 1/2" at 100m with my 6x47L and the sightron will show a 2" high vertical string for 3 shots. She's kaput. Who do I contact to get fixed?
Cheers.

Don't know where & how you bought it, but you may find local distributors of any product will require proof of purchase in Australia to involve themselves in warranty claims.

It came with the rifle when I bought it a year ago. I'll call them and ask. At this stage I'm buying a T36 to replace it.

As noted above Herrons
http://www.herrons.com.au/ are the agents and they ship the scope back to the USA. It cost $60.00 to ship to Sightron and they ship it back to you at no cost. I chose to ship mine back directly to Sightron and deal with them in person. Lifetime warranty with the scopes so no worries about getting it fixed.
Email them direct
http://info.sightron.com/ and find out for youself how to arrange the warranty work!

Hi Quick, I had a sightron scope die last year. I sent it direct to Sightron in the USA and they fixed it and sent it back to me, turn around time about 4 weeks. I paid the postage over, about $45 and they paid it on the way back.
Had previously dealt with Heron, re getting a scope turret knob, they were good but slow.
Cheers

Quick - as some others have posted, send it back direct to Sightron USA. I have an SI, SII and SIII. The SI which is absolutely the bottom of their pile scope played up so I returned it at my expense. The service was A1. After about 2 weeks they emailed me a test target shot with my repaired scope - they went to the bother of mounting a crappy SI scope on a 308 and shot a reasonable group with it. I couldn't believe the bother they went to for an SI. Returned to me a couple of weeks later so turnaround all up was around 4 weeks with the biggest delay being clearing customs at my end. They paid for the return shipping which is more than Leupold do with their much touted warranty!

Hey guys, I've sent my scope to herrons at sightrons request and then herrons are supposed to send it forward. Now they are asking which shop I bought scope through and want 90 bux to send to the states. Gonna have to ask sightron USA again about it and try send to them direct.

Hey Quick, you have the wrong name, you started this discussion on the 3rd of Feb. Forget about Herrons, don't email Sightron. Just send Sightron the b..... scope.
