Long Range F Open Rankings and Results

I (and some friends) have had a play around with NRAA published results for Lead Ups and Queens over the past 12 months, and come up with a Ranking Table for F Open AT LONG RANGE.
It is based on 800 Metres PLUS, so is 800m, 900 yds and 1000 yds
It is based on the highest score for that range being 100%, and then every other score is expressed as a percentage to compare it to the maximum/winning score.....which is 100%
WA is not included.....coz i cannot find any results, anywhere, that let a numbskull like me extract a score for the Long Range ...ie 800m PLUS...ranges. Your WARA has a peculiar results system that might as well be in Swahili, for an eastern state'r like me !!
The Table as published is therefore completely meaningless, in any legal sense ! :D :D
But it does reflect actual scores on paper for most shooters, at Lead Ups and Queens events, in F Open for the past 12 months.
I started with Alans Rankings list, and then added the extra names as they appeared in various Queens results, as published on the NRAA site.
i DID add in a couple of FTR scores , but only where i actually noted them, for a couple of shooters who are listed in the current Rankings as published. Rod Mahon, and Mark Fairbairn are two that come to mind. I added the Wild Dogs Tas F/TR Leadup score so I could knock his score down by a third of a percent :D

Anyone taking any serious notice of this should consult their GP.
It does not, and can NOT reflect the fact that some cagey buggers like Davies and Fraser choose to play around with load testing and barrel testing in Lead Ups, not caring about their scores.
As long as you are aware of their tactics, it should not upset anyone looking over their shoulder at their next Queens to see who is likely to come home hard..
If the charging field contains any of the first 15 or 20 names on the following list, then perhaps you DO have something to stress about !

I am personally shattered at how bloody awful my own Long range performance is. After just over two years shooting F Class, i am only just starting to remain calm at "the longs". I confess that the first 12 -18 months was damned intimidating
At least this gives me a goal !!
I tried a dozen different formulas to try and get McNamara knocked off the Number 1 perch but no matter how hard a tried, he kept popping up in that position

Brad,
Me too mate.....I just rarely get the chance over here. We only go to 700 yds at my home range, and the majority of OPMs are 300-600. Ipswich is a tricky 800mtrs, and gets me every time
I just have to make the effort and get to Belmont more often.
I need to apply to join their "Apples Club" that shoots 800,900 and 1000 yards once a month on a Sunday morning, and do that instead of my local Club if they will have me.
I would happily shoot longer range every time if I could......now that I am over my initial fear of it. You have to remember that until about 30 months ago I had never been on a rifle range in my life, but had done a lot of normal "hunting", where in reality most shots at foxes, dogs etc are 200 or less.
When you have never been to one before, my first Queens was quite intimidating, and in my first year or so, I probably only shot at Belmont just once. When I finally lay down on the mound at 1000 for the first time, I will happily confess to having been very nervous.
I am fine now, but just don't get to do it enough. So with my goal being to rise above halfway on the "List" in the next 12 months, I am just going to have to make the effort and get my butt to Belmont and more Queens, more often.
It's a fabulous facility, but not all of us can get there every week !
