John,
I haven't done any scientific testing & my knowledge is limited to 2 cases;
In my opinion Lapua has more capacity than ADI brass. I haven't used any other brands. Sorry can't help much more than that. I've used both and lately used ADI with good results. I have plenty of speed with ADI.

Remington held the most when I was playing with a 223 based wildcat for shooting furry things. I looked at winchester, remington and lapua.

Lapua has/had two .223 cases & the Match has the greater capacity.

Some while ago the Accurate Shooter / 6Br website had all the case capacities listed in the 223 info section. I had a look and it is still there.

Thanks for all the info/replies. I'll check out the 6br site. This is not for F Class but I will be shooting at the Bushranger 3 Gun Shoot in South Oz over the Queens Birthday weekend and they have a side match that has targets from 100 to 500+ that need to be shot as fast as you can. I'm putting a 22 - to 24" fluted 1-9 barrel on my Remington 7615. The main problem is that the OAL is limited to 2.260 to fit the mags. I want to get the most velocity from the 69 grain pills. That is assuming the load is accurate. Just a bit of fun.

the best way to gain capacity is to have a longer throat.

I will be long throating and free bore on this one. That was how the weatherbys could get their velocity.

i haven't thought about it yet, too much on my plate at work this time of year.

I have a long throated 223 that takes 26gr of 2208 and ISNT compressed.
