JMC,

Welcome to the forum. Just let us know something about your rifle, reloading setup, and how your scores are going, and any particular current problems, so we can pitch any advice at the right level. There are plenty of experienced 223 shooters here.

Welcome jc, have you joined a club? That's the first step and you will find many people willing to help. Most clubs have a few members that have been shooting forever that have a wealth of knowledge.

I'm not a 223 person, it may be a good idea to ask your question under the equipment and technical section.
Cheers

Do you have any experienced 223 shooters at your club? My thoughts are the best way to get started is find someone to mentor you, showing you hands on how to do things and to show you what to do. I'm not as experienced as some here, but still like to latch onto new shooters, let them use my gear, give them tips on what I can see from their target and set up.

Hi JC good to see you joined.Lots of good advice here on the forum just need to ask.Now the most important advice l can give you is it's your uncles Birthday coming up soon dig deep. And as I'm old and my eyes are gone I always get a 6 handicap.
