Senate submissions in relation to gun laws

Hi folks, there is an opportunity for us all to have a say on a number of topics related to firearms, laws controlling them etc. link is below have a read, and please have your say.

How did you find that out Jason. Certainly is hidden away.
Item "f" is one area, which if such proposals are taken and adopted by the states, will add another layer of cost onto the sport.

Far too much reading Craig, I try to stay up to date and educated, however I think ignorance would be bliss at times.

unfortunately it closes on friday and there have been only 40 submissions

Glad to see there were at least 40 submissions today.
If criminals seeking firearms as a tool for their violent activities cannot source unregistered firearms, their next logical source has to be registered firearms? It's hard not to think that registered firearm owners are more likely to become the victims of criminal activity. I'm not looking forward to that event.
If the government wants to do something useful maybe they should start publicly educating the community about responsible firearm ownership; and how acquiring firearms illegally is not beneficial to the community. They would have us believe that the "education program" worked with illegal immigrants?

When there are instances of people getting good behavior bonds for having illegal firearms why would people care if its against the law. If they were risking a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years jail then all but the worst of criminals would be thinking very seriously before trying to obtain one
