Maybe with poor eyesight the H110 numbering looks a bit like H1000 but he is lucky to have any eyesight at all after that mistake.

I wonder how thick your barrel has to get before the action lets go first, or does your barrel just get that pregnant look about it for the first 8"?

From memory H110 is the same as winchester 296. I used to load a bit of 296 in the 22 hornet I used to own. In terms of handling gunpowder, that shit is like garnet sand running through your hands. It used to even leak out the side of the powder thrower it was that fine. So its quite different in comparison to large kernels of slower burning magnum powder. I support those thinking along the lines of the natural selection idea...
