JLK Projectiles just wondering what they are like. The Bergers and the like are very popular. But l don't think any of the shooters that l know have used them and l haven't here a lot of talk about them. This makes me think that mabe they are out of favour.

I have some of the JLK 140s which remain untried. They are virtually identical with the Berger VLD Hunting, and probably less expensive (available from Bob Dyer, former owner of BJD). I won some of them at the Darwin Queens. They measure well - not sure why they aren't used much here, or in the US for that matter. Maybe our forum member OuttaAmmo can comment as he was intending to try them soon.

Thanks Alan that's what I was wondering as well.As getting Bergers at times can be a pain why aren't the JLKs more popular.I can only guess that perhaps they don't perform as well ??

I believe Berger just have better advertising. When have you ever seen a JLK ad? Haven't got around to trying mine, but Harry might have done some testing with his...

What's with the BC of the JLK's?
I take it that's the G1 model, which makes a comparison to Berger a bit hard.
I have a handful, which I intend to try, but doing homework on them is a bit difficult

I had a talk to a guy that told me they are soft and people have had trouble with Barrels Fowling .Don't know if this is right but there must be a reason why more shooters aren't using them...

JLK use J4 jackets, same as Berger so that info cannot be correct. The difference is in advertising & size of the operation. JLK are very good bullets and have a good following in 1000yd BR in the USA.

Another manufacturer 's product go's to the wall, due to internet crap. How hard would it have been to lower ones self and purchase and try a box of the bullets.
