That's it I've ordered the good weather, mostly sunny top of 22c, Winds N to NE @15-20 km/h becoming light during the morning, changing to SE to SW @ 15-20 km/h in the afternoon. =D>

All that is required is some shooters to come and show us how its done.

All grades INCLUDING F/TR

Hope to see you on Saturday

I'll get in first :D

I'll be testing out new projies for Canberra, however my son will be shooting Bergers.

If the new projies shoot well, then yippee....

But I'm sure there will be the odd comment about who is the better shooter if they don't #-o

Michael.H I've heard the comments put to you in similar vein 8) Some of it may be justified thou

See you all there, it's a great shoot and not having to move back to 600 yards should speed up the event, and leave us with ample parking! Good decision.

Yes as I say to the Apprentice whenever I shoot the weather turns Biblical sandstorms and the like. But when he shoots you could shoot 1000y with a Air Rifle completely still.See you there on Sat.

Good move. Mike.

Michael.H, yes it was a great day out.

Just on Nick's scores, they were 59's and a 60, only dropping two points for the day. You might have left Liam at home, but you better watch out for Nick :P

Looks like my 3 x 59's just doesn't cut it. I'll have to just lift my game :D

I'll see if Nick is willing to share some info on how he did it :-). Does Liam give you feedback on your shooting? I still can't wipe the smile of Nicks face.

Great format of 3 x 500 yards. Makes the event run quite smoothly. Alan, you may wish to introduce a target shift after lunch, or even a re-squad just to mix up the order for the last range.

.....by the way, did i happen to mention that i was load developing today? :D :D :D

Yes I think everyone enjoyed this meeting - very friendly and relaxed.

F-Open numbers were very encouraging. I believe the category is getting very strong in Vic. Other States should prepare themselves for slim pickins at upcoming teams events  .

I'd particularly like to congratulate Graeme Snowden from Rosedale. He joined us about a year ago and has been working away diligently with his Savage rifle and an old Leupold scope, and his 3rd place in F-Open today is his first badge. As you can imagine he was over the moon.
