Electronic targets? Help with x and y?

Hi all again , with North Arm coming up and the only time I shoot on electronic targets . My Question is.... With the x and the y that comes up on the screen to give the amount of correction to the centre. What is x and what is y ? Is x elevation in mm and y windage in mm away from the bull?
As I can't remember which way it was ! ( don't want to waste a sighter!)
Regards Graham.

Graham I am pretty sure x is the windage and y is the elevation.

Yes, X is +/- from vertical and Y is +/- from horizontal,
The link will open up a target and if you hover the cursor over each shot it will give you the X and Y of that shot(same as in the score).
And, yes, there are 12 shots, used up my sighters to get them out of the box, No 11 must have been a dud.
I have yet to shoot on an ET that didn't have a grid of some kind. On this score sheet they are 1moa, which is close enough to 5" X 5" and, if you hover the cursor over each shot it will bring up the X and Y (same as in the scoring).
You can also zoom the target.

Graham unfortunately I wont be at North Arm for their centenary OPM this year as I will be down in Victoria. From speaking to shooters over the last few months and the amount that have said that they are going sounds like it will be a terrific event.
Have a great time.
Steve

Graham, sounds like your pretty serious about the North Arm "Queens"..

I can't wait to see you guys in action.
Another friend told me that he's looking forward to the "North Arm Battle". Sounds like there are quite a few that want the title of NARC Centenary OPM winner.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

The way I remember which is which harks back to school days' graphing exercises - I always imagine that if you turn the "Y" upside down it then resembles an arrow pointing UP (Elevation). If you invert the "X" nothing changes. Wee mind games to remember and now it is even more useful as I have become old and forgetful.
