Nosler 80 grain competition projectiles

After a very long wait 7 months I got my batch of 2000 80g for my 223s
I have been using these for 3 years now and had good success
On looking at the new batch it seems the base to ogive is on average 15th longer and the metplat seems to look bigger
Has anyone else seen issues with these projectiles.
I did get some unusual vertical with my first load of these and that is what made me focus on the bullets to see if they were the issue
A bit of a pity I waited 7 months and purchased 2000 of them
Might have to do bullet sorting now

Pete

You may have to re develop your loads. Different batches can be larger/smaller in diameter and possibly you have additional or less bearing surface as well. If your ogive length is different obviously you will need to re tweak seating depth. Everytime you change lots of a component there is a chance it can affect your load.

Hi Brad
Yes I agree my main concern is the larger metplat as this effects BC
I will batch all 2000 on bearing length and weight and hopefully find a new good node
Once these are finished I will look at berger as they respond to emails unlike nosler who just ignore you
