Congrats to Cairns FO team for their clean sweep in Townsville. A sound victory on the first, a couple of points clinched the second and a lucky break brought the third home. All well deserved wins. It was good to see the team functioning, helping one another out and bringing it all together.
Well done guys, see you for the rematch next year.

Re: Townsville Pennants
It was an awesome weekend, well hosted by the TMRC.
It was very exciting the see the new ET's out and operating.
The pair of Bobs / Team Christie and their associated partners in crime have done a fantastic job setting up and should be commended.
Rumour has it the ET's have been voted as a go'er for the NQRA Queens next year, this I find very exciting.
NQRA Queens 20-24 MAY 2015, next years Queens is going to be a cracker.

Re: Townsville Pennants
The best thing about the Pennant shoot, especially for F Open shooters, was that it was a great opportunity for
the 'Southern' (mainly Mackay based) and 'Northern' (mainly Cairns and Tableland based) shooters to
get together and seriously compete.
This separation of the shooters makes it hard to select and merge a FNQ team.
This year it was a far more strenuously competed event with all shooters, coaches etc stretched to the limit.
But, with more depth of shooting developing, I have great hopes for the next State Teams event.
We need more of this. It raises standards in the gear, and coaching, and shooting.
Conditions were hard to nasty.
Severe mirage and very poor sighting most of the time and much stronger fast switching wind than we normally get had the coaches pulling their hair out.
And it was a great friendly event. Congratulations to everyone who was there.
Peter Smith.

Re: Townsville Pennants
I miss the shoots at Townsville range, wish I could have been there. Maybe time for a family visit up that way again to catch up for a shoot next year??
