60:9 x 4 at 700m all 284's?

Canberra queens had an unusual situation after the 700m range with 4 shooting 60:9
Some questions:
I'm sure 3 of the 4 were 284's, can someone confirm what Peter was shooting.
Has this happened before?

I also used the Dasher at 700m, but a miserable 60.7 did not come close.

Bob, did you keep or cut your sighters.

Knowing that two 60.9's had already been shot, and considering the conditions at the time, I elected to cut my second sighter (6).

I always keep "good" sighters since "cutting" some time ago at the Tumut 1000 and finishing with a "5". Not sure about the 700m match but I used the Dasher for 3 ranges and only used 2 sighting shots out of 6. You gotta luv that Dasher. By the way, I have the article from Precision Shooting February 1999 which announced the development of the Dasher, which was orginally developed as a .22 calibre. I will try to scan it and maybe Alan F can put it up as an article.

Here's Rob's Dasher article. Its 8MB, so please save it if you download - otherwise it will hog the website's download allowance.
