Looks like I have the day off so there will be 4 from Cessnock, two of us in F Open.
I will be there with my 300 Short Action Mini Mag MPG
Can anyone give me directions or a street name to put in the GPS as I haven't been to that range before.

Don't know any 'don't rain dances', but here is the Lithgow weather for Sunday and, I find this site reasonably accurate.
Constant wind only varying by 4kms so should be some high scores.
http://www.weatherzone.com.au/nsw/centr ... ds/lithgowWe had a one hour storm rip through our place last night which piled hail up on the roof, stripped needles off pine trees, smashed holes in pergola blinds, and, there was 35 mls in the gauge. Apple orchard next door copped it, but, bit hard to tell just how much damage they suffered.
12 kms away in Orange they had no rain at all.
Rained on and off today, mainly after lunch, enough to 'not bother with the todays shoot', but, if we had a couple more turn up we would have most likely shot.
The only way to find out what the weather is, is to turn up.

Very good attendance. We are into the 2nd 500 yards, had one delay due to rain. Winds light but variable rear fishtail making for some challenging shooting. 90 entries, Fstd A 20, Fstd B 12 and F Open 10.

Thanks to everyone who came to Lithgow today, 18 FO shooters was a really good number.
Congratulations to Michael Singleton on his win in FO.

It was a good fun event, lovely range. The rain did not get in the way as much as expected, just enough for a few breaks. Not only were F class numbers high, but the standards are getting so high, with only Xs or a point separating the top half dozen or more positions in each discipline and very few points lost despite the tricky conditions. Things are going very well for F Class in this area. Congrats to Mick Singleton and to those who were only Xs or a point away.

A big congratulations to Cessnock shooter Dave Avery who used his little 223 to win F std A grade. Dave does not get out much, but I hope that will change.
