Hi All
I shot these 2 groups today both 10 shots at 300m the 1st is Reloader 15 and the 2nd is 2208, both are 107SMK and both loaded into the lands. Loads are safe in my rifle normal disclaimer, reduce by 2 grains and work up, 31.5 of Reloader 15 and 30.5 of 2208. No adjustments were made for wind and held centre for every shot and no adjust made between loads for elevation.

They measure about 32mm the first picture is the second group. Without the one over the top the Reloader group is about 22mm, haven't been able to chrono but I think about 2850 fps.

Just got to make sure it's a 6mm pencil !!!!!!

Will retry both over a chrony and see if a slightly stiffer load of 08 tightens the group but may have to stick with the reloader 15. It seems guys in the States are also getting good result with this powder.

From what I have read, 6mmbr and there improved family members, have unexplained flyers using 2208/varget.

It has been said using RL15 has reduced these unexplained flyers, but it may be just a mental attitude.

Also, I understand that RL15 gives you a increase in velocity over 2208, just RL15 is not as stable as 2208.

For my 6mm Dasher, I chose to go the RL15 route, and I am happy with the results I am getting.

I might dust off the Dasher and shoot it over 300m and see if I can match your pencil holes.

The Dasher always surprises me. At 100m, it has put 16 shots into .3.

How you finding the 6mmbr against the likes of the 300's, 6.5's and 7mm's?

Cheers

From what I've heard it's more temp sensitive than ADI powders but there are way to reduce it being a problem, such as keeping ammo boxes in a cooler bag on hot days etc. When shooting over a chrony I have seen velocity jump 50-60FPS when rounds are left sit in the chamber even with ADI powders so al powders do it to a certin degree.
