Hi All,
Just thinking ahead here...
In the interest of spreading out my shooting events next year I'm thinking of going to the SA Queens.
Will there be any on site accommodation as I would fly there and want to travel light as possible.
Couldn't find any info on the SA site, though I did only have a man look.

Hi Tim
Last year a new accom block was opened right on the range.
Can't recall exactly how many 2 bed rooms? At least 20 as they back to back each other.
Quite reasonable pricing plus catering 3 meals a day.
Get onto SARA and book one early?
There are separate club houses where people crash / camp out as well.
I have asked Richard for dates as one of our guys is definitely going next year.
As yet no reply just that it will be May again?
Cheers
Shane

There is also caravan park accommodation in bolivar and a real nice caravan park in gawler. bolivar is probably 15min and gawler would be 30min at the most and both are very easy to navigate trips.

Hi All,
This event is getting closer and I was wondering if anyone is driving there from Sydney or surrounds who would like some petrol money to cart an extra box of goodies?

Tim,
If you can find someone coming to the Vic Queens, then I can take it from there.
Adam,
Would there be a (reasonably

) sheltered spot near the new accommodation where I could run a lead to the van cave? I have a generator, but mains power preferable.
Alan

Hi Alan,
I'll ask Richard as lower light isn't my home range so I'm not 100% on the power outlets.

Possibly CTV club rooms . . . . Depending on how your shooting there may be some intermittent voltage fluctuations

No they won't do that, because it'll only cause me to ask the question why the SARA Queens is the only one that has a 900m/1000yd mound available but doesn't use it

Hi Alan
Jumping in ahead of say Richard? Think it goes back to when it was held later in year with notorious winds?
Found that few people able to cope with Lower Light winds at 800m let alone 900 and 1000?
Now that it is being held early in year with more benign wind conditions they may change their program to include longer ranges!!
I think they had one shoot where because of forecast they shot backwards - 800 first down to closer ranges as the day wore on?
Cheers
Shane
