MCSI review of scores
Posted: Sun Oct 15, 2006 2:00 pm
Comparison of scores at Grafton 300 yds between FB, FS & FO using the MSCI lookup table for each stage and the totaling the 2 stage scores.
Now from this I believe that there is a perception problem in that what I consider to be the accepted practice in Fullbore shooting, for example that a 50.0 is better score than a 49.9 and that makes the MCSI tables unacceptable to the majority of Fullbore shooters while this practice is still evident amoung club members.
Once this practice is consigned to the WPB of time and shooting for V Bulls is the norm then the MCSI with a few anomalies corrected is viable.
I have included a column of % of accepted possible score. For FB that is 100 for a 20 shot match, for FS 120 and for FO on FB targets 120
Shooter.......Class..............Score..........MSCI.......% of a Possible score
1..................FS.................113.............186...........94%
2..................FB.................97.06..........183.6........97%
3..................FB.................94.08..........182.6........94%

5..................FS.................109.............181.5.......90.8%
6..................FO.................110.............176.6.......91.7%
7..................FB.................90.03..........174.2.......90%
8..................FS..................101............173.2.......84.2%
9..................FS..................101............172.9......84.2%
