Hey guys
It's come to the point that I have to get new brass for my .284win..

I have been using Lapua for the past few years in .308, 6.5x284 and .284W, but there has always been a few people always rave to me about the Norma cases saying they are better quality with drilled flash holes and blar blar blar but that's in .223 and .308 so I was wondering if they are as good as what's said?

I don't really care about the price, they are only about 20 or 30odd dollars difference per 100 i just care what's better. Iv never had any faults with my Lapua cases in any caliber but have not gotten cases for a while and read people saying they have been going down hill!

I bought 2 x 100 pce bags a couple of years ago.
Bag were the same Lot number
Bag 1 was very shitty quality control. Several brand new primer pockets looser pre first use than Lapua that had been fired 5-6 times. Plus a huge weight range over nearly 3 gr. I had to trash them after 5 firings with "moderate" loads (2820 fps approx with 180 gr pills)
Second bag much tighter......90% plus within a grain and no loose primer pockets. 4-5 firings so far and no issues.
With their Quality Control so hit and miss, I won't be buying any more Norma brass for my 284 Win
