Berger quality control

Just been weighing some Berger 30 cal 155.5 fullbore projectiles, lot no. 6328. Found 1 x 210 g projectile.

Makes you wonder about quality control. Wouldn't want to be reloading in a hurry.

Anyone else experienced this lately?

Cheers
Danny

It worries me that someone will load a rogue heavy bullet and not notice... Yes, that is pretty poor on Berger's part.

Yep, I had a 155.5 weigh in at 153.4 once. But the whole batch was dodgy. Probably 75-80% had a heap of blemishes in the copper jacket, with about half of them having a rust /oxidation like build up on them. The new batch I have just opened are very good again though. A lot closer to the standard that you would expect from berger.
