Nightforce ATAC R 5 - 25×56 FFP

After waiting 6 months I finally took delivery of my new ATAC R today.
I get it home, read the manual and find the DigiLume is faulty (totally). So much for quality control ?? Has anyone else had problems with these new ATAC R Scopes ?

My son got a SFP version about two months ago. I fitted it to my Edge and have given it a fair work out while his rifle is being built.
The optics are much better than the NXS range IMHO.
The illuminated reticle works perfectly. Electronics are something that are prone to give grief. Maybe yours needs a new battery?

I tested the battery on volt meter @ 3.1V. Even tried another new battery but alas no illumination of the MOAR.

I have found Nightforce warranty procedure and service to be excellent.
If you've bought this scope through an Australian distributor you won't have an issue.

Yes I purchased it here in Australia.
The latest wishy washy excuse from them is its only got +/- 2.0 Diopter and I had gone to about +2.8 and this could be the reason I couldn't "see" the coloured reticle.
Hmmmmmm ?????
Although everywhere I look on Nightfore Site about Tech Specs on ATACR FFP I can't find any data indicating ONLY +/- 2 Diopters.
