I use my Barnard 2 stage trigger when being coached at club and state level
I can hold the 700 grams nice with my finger while waiting for the coach to get his wind reading right then let my 308 go with 300 grams smooth pull
I have a 1 in 13 and 1 in 12 32 inch trueflite barrels that work well at 1000 yards
I am pushing Berger 155.5 pills at about 3010 fps
Not sure how a TR rifle will work with a 2 stage trigger but I know a few who use them at my local club with great success

Once upon a time I would've used nothing but a single stage trigger but now I've a good two stage, it rules!
As outlined above you can preload to the second stage for a more controlled release. Less likely to jag a shot.

My millennium 2 stage triggers give a wonderfully light second stage letoff with minimal disturbance to aim.
