Hello, a question to Bipod users be it FTR or F STD, what is everyone using and why. what are some of the downfalls or highlights of particular designs that people are using?

I was running a Harris but purchased a secondhand Sinclair (2nd gen not the current one) from a club mate. A couple of us had been trying it out with success compared to using our Harris-type rigs. It is a bit of a pain to adjust the legs but once setup is very stable. My scores are low due to my 'developing' technique not the bipod!

I have both types

Sebs joy pods are good for coached shooting , you follow the quick adjustments ready to shoot .

For Solo shooting others ( non-coaxed) like Davies , Duplin & Dolphin are all capable of getting you there , my Duplin have won Queens and many OPMs

Technique in using all of them is something you need to work out for your Caliber and rifle .

Bipods are an aid a tool along with rear rests & mats etc combined to give results , hope this helps.
