Have bought a packet but havnt used them yet, measured a weighed a few. Ogive measures around the same, but the weights the strange one. random pick of the new 155.5 come in at 155 and a pick of 155 come in at 155.4
tips are a little different
155.5 on left & 155 on right

The boat tail looks a little longer on the 155.5 maybe a little shorter bearing surface? be interesting to see if they have the weights all uniform. they used to vary quite a lot with the old design.

I weigh and batch my HBCs also and agree that there are some considerable differences.
The extremes I have found are from 154.8 to 155.6, albeit only two projectiles at those extremes.
I guess if you were not batching then the unlucky among us would have those one after another in a string of shots. Gradual incremental weight changes, could be pretty transparent and countered with minor adjustment but a sudden difference of 0.8 would I assume likely be dropped points for you F-Class folk.
Us TR shooters would just take it in our stride and adjust for new natural point of aim with the projectile weight difference in the chamber.. Yes, were that good

I have had variations in weight from 154.2 to 156.0 in a single batch of HBC before. Most of the old design would weigh in at 155.5 +/1 0.1gr. I have been using Berger full bores since i built this rifle which have there own issues from batch to batch so im keen to see if the new HBC are more consistent than before. i might just have to buy some if no one has any more input and see for myself.
