I was just wondering im in the market for a new priming tool. whanted some advice on what people are using. currently i have the rcbs but was looking to upgrade . lew

if money is no problem then i would suggest the 21st century hand primer.

Have used a Sinclair for last 3 years or so and really happy with feel it provides.

i was looking at the 21st century and the K&M. I havnt seen the sinclair one i will have a look now shane. thanks for the feed back guys .

A bit old fashioned,I know,but I use my old Super Simplex press,good feel seating primers,then the Lee Ram Prime.I have the Lee Auto Prime,very good for moderate to easy seating primers,but no good for arthritic or Carpal tunnel problems.

I will 2nd the 21st century, I have used a few and its 2nd to none, the new tray feed version would be the pick, but I cant justify the upgrade at this stage.

If you are using Lapua Small Primer Palma Brass (Really tight primer pockets) the RCBS Universal Hand Primer is the way to go. Lots of leverage. Plenty of feel and quite fast. I went through a frustrating month or two when I converted to SP Palma Brass, as my Older RCBS Hand Primer (Shell holder type), Lee Hand Primer and press mounted systems just could not cope adequately with the tight pockets. Granted I didn't try the custom hand primers out there.

k&m is a good unit, you can feel things are going right with your thumb

21st Century every day of the week, can't beat this one for feel and precision.

I bought their bench unit to help my arthritic hands with LR primers (my Sinclair is still good for SR) & I swear that that new tray of theirs is the most contrary, worrying nuisance that I've ever used. Check the bugger out carefully before you buy.

I love the 21st century I have two great feel and much easier on the hands.
